What's Up With the Bound and Gagged Scenes in Movies?‎

There is a high chance that you will see a scene where the hero or heroine is bound and Japanese gagged.‎ These scenes are a major deal in Hollywood movies and are great entertaining to watch.‎ But what's the purpose behind these scenes and what are the consequences of them?‎

Catwoman

Catwoman is known as a femme fatale.‎ She has been known to appear to be a woman in order to achieve her goals.‎ She is also used to use various objects to draw attention to her adversaries.‎ To entrap her victims she might employ duct tape and caltrops.‎ She also has a furry companion to help her free herself.‎

Catwoman has appeared in several Batman comics.‎ Catwoman had a brief association with Batman in the 80s.‎ This relationship is broken when Batman is believed to be manipulated by Hush.‎ But, after Bruce Wayne is freed from Arkham and they begin to get romantically linked.‎

Catwoman is a famous international thief.‎ She was drawn by Jim Balent and primarily penciled by him.‎ She was also drawn by various other writers.‎ In 1993, Catwoman was given her own comic book series.‎ The story was written by Ed Brubaker.‎ In 2001, Catwoman underwent a revamp.‎ This series is not canonical.‎ It was rewritten to fit DC Comics' The New 52.‎

After Catwoman was rewritten she received an entirely new costume.‎ She donned a black dress and pornagraphy metal claws that retractable metal claws.‎ The costume was based on Emma Peel's catsuit in The Avengers television series.‎

Exorcism scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark

The scene of an exorcism in a film can be frightening.‎ Especially if you're unfamiliar with the practice.‎ It's a stressful experience, and it's one that many have experienced.‎ Many people don't think of having an exorcism, regardless of the anxiety.‎ If you're interested you can observe the exact way this event took place in Raiders of the Lost Ark.‎

The Roman Catholic Church was opposed to exorcisms as a relic of the ancient ritual.‎ Roman Catholics believed such a ritual was a mystical rite and Japanese should not be made into movies.‎ To protect their religion the church was said to have prohibited the making of a horror movie about an exorcism.‎

"The Exorcist" was one of the first movies to make popular the idea of demonic possession.‎ But it wasn't exactly a good movie.‎

A film about an exorcism can seem like a lot of hooey but The Exorcist actually had some interesting ideas and subtexts.‎ The film is also stuffed with obnoxious jump scares, sleazy violence, and musical stings.‎

Yo-Jin-Bo

Yo-JinBo is an official visual novel that you can download from the Windows Store, regardless of whether you are into anime.‎ And it's not hard to see why.‎ The story's fantasy setting is an ode to feudal Japan and the characters are all cute and cuddly, Lez-Hardcore if not a bit on the shady side.‎ The story also has a some geekiness to add some spice.‎

Insofar as Yo-Jin-Bo's story is concerned, there's a triumvirate of main characters to keep you busy including the well-known Yo, the oh so adorable Jin and the petty psychopath Ittosai.‎ The story is set in the feudal period of Japan and tells a story where princesses and guardians go on the run.‎ The secret document found in a vehicle that was scrapped by the ruffian may be related to the princess's whereabouts.‎

The storyline also has a connection to the characters' love lives.‎ The characters aren't isolated which is a good thing.‎ In reality it's when they diverge from one another that the plot becomes a distraction.‎

The Happiest Fella

The Most Happy Fella has not been on the stage for more that one week, which is not the case for many of the people who have walked past the theater in recent years.‎ The show was originally scheduled to run until February, but was later pushed back for a couple of days due to a slew of last-minute cancellations.‎ The show is currently running at City Center, and is scheduled to close on April 6.‎ Although The Most Happy Fella has been a bit tweezer for the past few weeks it's still a family friendly show with a cast and crew that will not disappoint.‎ If you're looking to commemorate your anniversary, enjoy a night in the theater, or are simply curious go to the show and you might be rewarded with a brand new family heirloom.‎ This is possibly the only show that's of its kind in New York City, and is bound to be a memorable event that you'll never forget.‎ The best part is, it's a free show which isn't often the situation in the big apple.‎ If you're from the West Side, give this show a try.‎ It's possible that you'll meet the perfect family member.‎

Yu Yu Hakusho

YYH is a great animated series with great characters, villains, and Natural-Boobs fight scenes.‎ It is an older anime, but it has good animation and great characters.‎ It originally aired on Cartoon Network, and Adult Swim.‎ The anime has a few episodes on the DVD.‎

Yusuke Urameshi Yusuke Urameshi, a Spirit Detective, is charged with protecting the Human World against supernatural threats.‎ He is Team Urameshi's leader in fact.‎ He is trying to locate Raizen.‎ He is also a fierce adversary of Genkai.‎

Kuwabara is one of the weakest members of the group.‎ His sword is strengthened through a sword hilt.‎ He also plays an important role in the story.‎ To unleash the power of Yusuke, he faked his death.‎

There are some fantastic fighting scenes in anime, as well as fantastic villains.‎ It's also a peaceful drama which focuses on character development.‎ It is well-animated and is definitely worth watching.‎ The Japanese version of Sacred Energy has a similar storyline to YYH.‎

The anime series is a remake the manga Cerebus Syndrome, but the anime is slightly different.‎ It skips a few of the comedy stories from the manga and concentrates more on character development.‎ It also skips certain action scenes.‎

The Perils of Pauline (1914)‎

Originally a 20-episode serial, The Perils of Pauline is one of the most watched silent movies ever.‎ Pearl White plays the role of the heroine who is always in danger.‎ She must defend herself against an evil "guardian", who will try to kill her many times.‎

Harry Marvin (Crane Wilbur) is the son of a rich man.‎ He is planning to marry Pauline but she would like her independence.‎ Both are horrified by Pauline's decision.‎ They plan a sloppy murder.‎ Harry is an manipulative jerk, and doesn't want Pauline dead.‎ He treats her like a child that isn't paying attention.‎ He's as ignorant as James Bond.‎

The Perils of Pauline was directed by Louis J.‎ Gasnier.‎ It was also cut in France for a 28mm release.‎ It was chosen for the National Film Registry.‎ Universal Studios rereleased the movie in 1967 as a re-released comedy.‎ Paramount Pictures also reissued the film in 1947 as an Betty Hutton vehicle.‎

The story centers around Pauline's uncle's death, leaving Pauline with a million dollars.‎ She is planning to spend the rest of the year exploring the world before getting married.‎ However, Adorable a sly "guardian" of Pauline's inheritance is planning to kill her.‎ To aid him, he employs Hicks as his henchman.‎ A side character discovers the deeds of Hicks.‎

Once was a Time

"Once Upon A Time" redefined classic fairy tales.‎ It introduced new characters, plot lines as well as new characters.‎ The show's final seasons brought in blander characters and plots.‎

"Into the Deep" is an okay episode"Into the Deep" isn't the most impressive example of the promise that Season 2 has made.‎ The main story is quite good.‎ But Emma's attitude is a little self-centered to be realistic.‎ Aren't she the only one who has magic that is light?‎

I'm certain Emma is happy to be free of Hook but I can't see her getting over her love for him.‎ She would like to escape to New York but is afraid of love and joy.‎ She believes that Killian abandoned her because of her fear.‎ Is it worth the risk?‎

It turns out Emma's family had been keeping things from her.‎ She returns home to discover that someone had left her the magical canonizing ring that prevents people from being magically cursed.‎ However, she also discovers a knife that was hidden within.‎

The episode is pretty good However, I'm not convinced that the novelty is worth the effort.‎ If you're only interested in the famous fabled 'Hat trick' then this isn't for you.‎
